Dippi is so real he inspires a lot to the people. It requires guts to speak about truth. This is first time I have watched an interview without any break.
Try to find put any childhood trauma that led to this. When your brain will process that memory or feeling, the impact will become less a d you will stammer less.
Same mee to , It takes lot of effort to substitute words where I will stammer , at the end of the day , too much Anxiety in my head and my brain becomes like a hell 😢
Hi Shradha, writing this to you, loved loved LOVED the interview, no one is trying to sound smart faaltu mein. The pace of the interview reminds me on Nilesh Mishra's slow interview series, it is a very well paced piece i've seen recently, and I have watched almost every top podcast there is. Released in parts made me watch the entire interview, do keep the same strategy next time as well. You bring in such a nice perspective to the entire process, of warmth, comfort and asking some really uncomfortably good questions.
Such a good interview Shradha. It was quite eminent that you were trying to understand the person and not just the CEO of a successful startup. And what a great & real personality Deepinder is. The whole interview feels so real with no underlying agenda. Loved it
Exceptional interview of an exceptional person. Surprised to see that no questions were asked about, 1) the recent Blinkit strike 2) ONDC and it’s impact on online commerce It would have been interesting to get his perspective on these issues.
Deepinder seems like kind of person who truly believes in the concept of 'work is worship'. He works because it gives him a sense of purpose and he ensures that he does his work well. His focus on 'Kaam karo' and 'Great work should be the baseline' is so empowering. So inspired by this interview.
Such a heartfelt interview, both Shraddha & Deepinder. Such life lessons to help and enjoy life as is with zero expectations! Kudos to you for this and everything going forward!
Loved this guy wow, how humble, simple, calm and yet chaotic, I just felt great, not that typical snobbish entrepreneur with a narrative and PR script, he seemed authentic ✨💫🤌
Thank you for doing this. This inspires and helps us keep faith in our journey . The limelight side of entrepreneurs and their journey has set a different bar, but when we know about such a side ....... We get to know that there is a place for us too.
Very very deep and insightful interview.....Deepinder is just some very normal dude with simple values in life ..... I got to know today that He is sufferring from Stammering which would lead him to physical sickness and therefore dont attends to any interviews or conferences ...Respects to him for speaking this up.... luv u deepinder for the Zomato u have build Today
Shraddha, I am in awe of the content you put out and educate the masses. I want to know what are some reasons YOUR STORY is not able to grow because your work is fantabulous and require more reach it is been 14 years since you started buy you still haven't come to mainstream media.
3:07 - 3:24 Best Lines ❤ - Culture Development of Company 1) Give people the sense of ownership 2) Have higher goals, The process would eventually take you forward 3) Bonuses shouldn't make people work. 20:36 Rare moment. Emotional girl having conversation with practical guy. Seems like a deep exchange of word before an arrange marriage set up😊 it was just on lighter note.😅
He did such a noble job launching zomato, People who stammer literally have such a hard time ordering food over phone calls, or face to face standing in queues stutter and mess up the order. there are many instances where i have ordered a different food item because it ( the starting syllable) was easier to tell. Kudos to him for being so humble and open about it and still overcoming this shadow thar PwS suffer!! And thank you for launching Zomato !!
What an interview and what a man. The only one thing that I had a beef with was his 24 hours job requirement. So I as a candidate would apply for the job, have no personal time (which is essentially what was meant by 24 hours job). It may have been a good fit for the role but essentially glorifies the hustle culture again.
See it from his perspective, he only wants people who are equally passionate and share his level of love/passion which is fair if you see it from his point of view.
This interview reminds me of BwC, but here champs are entrepreneurs. I would love to see more of these kind of free rolling interview, too much of standards ruins the taste of pudding.
Q. for Deepi: Why did Zomato give Rs. 800 crores to acquire NGO Feeding India from Ankit Kawatra? (as per IPO ESOP Declaration) when Zomato could easily build something better with less money?
He takes more than 100 cr in esops costs every year and say I don’t know how much money I have in my bank account, nothing to take away from his success but Itna oblivious bhi maat bno, great entrepreneur but this is just post ipo image branding exercise which every ceo does 😅
People like him need to come out more in public so that the people not so famous/successful find the required motivation and inspiration to feel confident about themselves
It takes guts to speak heart out, his honesty while talking about the 'stammering' question says a lot about him. Inspiring personality !

Tears in my eyes....i stammer....i fall sick....when I have to go on stage....nobody can understand and relate to this if you haven't been there.....
Try to find put any childhood trauma that led to this. When your brain will process that memory or feeling, the impact will become less a d you will stammer less.

At which part does he talk about his stammering

Exceptional interview of an exceptional person.
Surprised to see that no questions were asked about,

2) ONDC and it’s impact on online commerce
It would have been interesting to get his perspective on these issues.

It is the most real and honest conversation with this amazing man.

Love you man!!❤
Q. for Deepi: Why did Zomato give Rs. 800 crores to acquire NGO Feeding India from Ankit Kawatra? (as per IPO ESOP Declaration) when Zomato could easily build something better with less money?
Haha, money trails. He is not here to do charity for his investors. Usko khud bhi kamana hai.
Poori Zindagi Feeding India ko NGO kehke volunteer karwaya logo se or fir 800 crore me Zomato ko bik gaye.
He takes more than 100 cr in esops costs every year and say I don’t know how much money I have in my bank account, nothing to take away from his success but Itna oblivious bhi maat bno, great entrepreneur but this is just post ipo image branding exercise which every ceo does 😅

Is there anyway , Deepinder can be reached ( his email ) with respect to his stammering problem?
what are they referring to when they speak about loneliness
